The de facto home of bronzed bodies, sarongs and the latest sunglasses, Café Caprice is situated directly across the road from the pristine white sand and crystal waters of Camps Bay beach.

Over the years it’s attracted a loyal band of followers from locals to international stars alike, and it’s definitely the place to see and be seen on the Camps Bay strip. On a warm day the sidewalk tables are at a premium, not surprising given the location.

If you don’t manage to snag one there’s an intimate restaurant area upstairs with pretty generic chill out music care of the resident DJs.

Loved for its always-good food, cocktail menus and music which gets your foot tapping, Café Caprice has been dubbed the “jewel in Cape Town’s entertainment crown”, and is the hangout of choice for the cool set who enjoy kicking back in one of the world’s most beautiful settings.
