She works very closely with nature and is inspired by the Fynbos in her garden to the Lilies of the Okavango Delta. Paul du Toit - PlanetPaul |
12 Orange Str, Hout Bay
Tel. +27 21 790-1514
Cell. +27 82 337 2229
As painter, sculptor, and video artist, Paul du Toit continually shifts the goalposts of visual creation. In short, just when you think you know what's going on, the whole picture changes! The denatured faces and imagery that are characteristic of modern art are fully present in Paul's art and although his mission is to fracture visual expectations, he remains true at all times to two important principles: perspective and balanced proportion. |
