ARTISTS

Hout Bay still has a working harbour, and is well known as a fishing village. There are many different boat trips and water sports to suit all tastes and experience levels.

Nola Muller

Make an appointment via e-mail
- Nola Muller is an accomplished artist who has exhibited her work all over the world. Her studio is always filled with a variety of drawings, watercolours and canvases. She works very closely with nature and is inspired by the Fynbos in her garden to the Lilies of the Okavango Delta. Her work ranges from the large desertscapes of Namibia to the moods of the Cape mountains, and she is well-known for her beautiful drawings of dogs, horses and wildlife.

Paul du Toit - PlanetPaul

12 Orange Str, Hout Bay
Tel. +27 21 790-1514
Cell. +27 82 337 2229
As painter, sculptor, and video artist, Paul du Toit continually shifts the goalposts of visual creation. In short, just when you think you know what's going on, the whole picture changes! The denatured faces and imagery that are characteristic of modern art are fully present in Paul's art and although his mission is to fracture visual expectations, he remains true at all times to two important principles: perspective and balanced proportion.

ARTS & CRAFTS

Visit the Hout Bay Craft Market on Sundays (across the road from the Post Office in Main Rd) to see a wealth of local arts and crafts.
