Kronendal Manor house relives the romance of this era, when the refinements of an eastern way of life were imported to the west for the very first time.

We sincerely hope that our authentic Asian cuisine, prepared by 5-star Thai chefs, will carry your senses to an exotic world of spices, perfumes and all that’s precious - here, in the original, centuries old Cape-Dutch homestead. Thai cuisine is known for its enthusiastic use of fresh herbs and spices and is considered by many to be among the best in the world. It is a blend of Asian and European influences created through century's of trade between continents harmoniously combined into something uniquely Thai.

Our "Raya Lounge" hosts one of the finest and most extensive cocktail selections in Southern Africa.

The Raya Lounge mixology concept was created by Mr. Heinz Lummer (a German with a hint of Africa). He has successfully blended creative new ideas with old school sophistication using classic and modern mixing methods to bring you your perfect cocktails - sexy and seductive, unique and imaginative combined with a touch of exotic Thai twist. A zesty concept with an International flare.
