The way things were done when we all had a little more time, and demanded a lot more flavour. In fact, we’re starting a little revolution, right here in Hout Bay. After several years making food for Melissa’s Food Store and other restaurants, they decided it was time to start creating their own dream. Over the years they have become famous for the taste and quality of their food - with a distinctly European flavour on their daily buffets and the many cakes and tarts that come rolling out of the kitchen. Today Ian Gersowsky is managing the restaurant by following the principles and guidelines the previous owners have instilled to make La Cuccina a successful and growing business.
