POPLAR TREE LODGE – Superior self- catering accommodation in Hout Bay, Cape Town Nestled against the mountainside in a lovely and secluded part of Hout Bay, Poplar Tree Lodge offers fully equipped and luxurious self-catering accommodation and boasts wonderful views across the valley.

The suites which sleep between 2 & 4 people are serviced daily Monday – Saturday (excl. public holidays), have Satellite TV, wireless internet access, and a DVD/CD player. There is secure on-site parking. The Lodge features a communal pool, sun deck & patio and has attractive tiered gardens. There are BBQ available. For those wanting bed and breakfast there is the option of a continental breakfast served on the patio or in the guest’s own suite at an additional cost at R55 per person. Situated in the charming village of Hout Bay, the Lodge is under 5 minutes drive from the restaurants, shops, the beach and a busy fishing harbour; as well as being ideally located to explore the Cape Peninsular and enjoy the spectacular views along Chapman’s Peak Drive , go wine tasting on the Constantia Wine Route or experience the world-class restaurants and cosmopolitan night life of Camps Bay and Cape Town city.

Tree Top Suite Our premier suite features a large bedroom with a king-size four-poster bed, occasional chairs, satellite TV channels, DVD/CD player etc. The large bathroom includes a corner bath and separate shower. There is a fully equipped kitchen/diner complete with a dining table and wicker chairs. The suite has just been redecorated and has new curtains and blinds in all areas. It opens onto a large deck with spectacular views across the valley and to the mountains around. Sleeps 2 (can also accommodate children – please ask for details)

Garden Suite A calm and restful 3 roomed suite. The bedroom has either a king size or twin beds, the bathroom has a bath and separate shower. The large living area includes a day bed and a double sleeper couch, as well as a fully equipped kitchenette with dining table & chairs, satellite TV, a DVD/Cd Player etc. New curtains, blinds and cushions in the living area and the bedroom give the suite a fresh new look .The suite opens directly onto its own veranda and garden which enjoy great views over Hout Bay valley to the sand dunes of Sandy Bay and the surrounding mountains. Garden Suite has it’s own entrance gate for extra privacy. Sleeps 3 – maximum 4.

Valley View Suite A light fresh 3 bedroom suite featuring a bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a bathroom with a roll top bath and a separate shower cubicle plus a large living area that includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a small dining table & chairs, a double sleeper couch, a day bed, satellite TV, DVD/CD player etc The suite has recently been fitted with new blinds and cushions in both the bedroom and the living area ans so is looking bright and fresh. The suite has views over the Hout Bay valley to the dunes of Sandy Bay and to the surrounding mountains. Sleeps 3 – maximum 4.

Studio Suite Our more compact/budget suite with a wall of windows features either a king-size or twin beds, a small dining table & chairs, a concealed kitchenette plus an an en-suite bathroom. There is satellite TV & a DVD/CD player. The suite, situated to back of the lodge, opens out onto a paved patio looking up to the mountainside. Sleeps 2.
