Description

Previously known as Summer Hills, Shambala Guest Lodge is nestled among mature trees on the sunny slopes of Little Lion’s Head mountain, overlooking the valley of Hout Bay, which offers the convenience of shops, restaurants, and mountain walks, among many other attractions. The stunning local beaches of Sandy Bay and Llandudno, world-famous among naturists and surfers, are close by. Cape Town city centre and the Waterfront are easily accessible via a short, scenic drive, as is the historic Constantia wine route. Immersed in nature, the scenery around Shambala is breathtaking!

Shambala is set in lush and tranquil gardens, and offers a selection of one and two bedroom self-catering suites, the largest accommodating up to 5 guests. The saltwater pool is solar heated to maximise swimming opportunities. A traditional African thatched lapa beside the pool offers shade and respite from the summer sun. Laundry and shopping services are available on request.

Shambala is situated in a secure estate with guarded and video-monitored access, combining security and freedom of movement. Within the estate, our own property offers covered, secure parking behind remote-controlled gates, with a dedicated bay for each suite.

Our well equipped self-catering suites make Shambala ideal for short or long stays, be it for holidays, business trips, or relocation. Jewellery beyond expectation

Is it your dream to have tailor made jewellery created from your design or recycle old beloved jewellery and bring it up to date?

I have been creating bespoke jewellery for more than 20 years. It is important that jewellery fits comfortably and also reflects the personality of those wearing it.

Making jewellery is as much about listening as it is creating. Jewels in South Africa are abundant; they represent a fantastic investment and are of course tax free.
