Whittler's Lodge is situated on a wooded mountainside overlooking the tranquil Hout Bay valley. This peaceful neighborhood is filled with the calls of numerous wild birds.The lodge is situated five minutes by car from Hout Bay beach & village.

5 self-catering, fully serviced suites. 3 of the units have two rooms (sleeps 4 adults). One honeymoon suite and one smaller unit. Units are upstairs overlooking pool, forest and view.

You will also have use of our solarium area, which is an ideal place to have ones breakfast or a few sundowners while watching the sunset.

Our self-catering units are serviced daily from Monday to Friday and each of our Guests will have a remote to the property with ample parking space inside the gates.

Family suite: This unit is a two-bed roomed interleading unit that consists of 2X ¾ beds a bathroom and kitchenette area. This unit has a dining table and a T.V with all the channels. (Normally sleeps 4 adults)

Luxury Suite: This unit consists of a large two –bed roomed apartment each with 2X ¾ beds a bathroom and kitchenette area. The unit has it’s own T.V with all the channels and a dining table on the out side balcony overlooking the mountains and the village in the distance. (Normally sleeps 4X adults)

The Blue Room: This unit is a one- bed roomed apartment, which consists of a bathroom and a kitchenette area with 2X ¾ beds. This unit has a T.V with a two-seater table and the unit overlooks the forest gardens and the large pool below. (Normally sleeps 2X adults) (not photographed)

The Honeymoon suite: This unit has a double bed, sleeper couch, and bathroom with a kitchenette area. This unit is very large and it has its own T.V., balcony and own entrance. (Normally sleeps 2X adults)

The Mountain Suite: This unit is a two roomed apartment each room having 2X ¾ beds and a bathroom. The main apartment has its own kitchenette area with a dining table. The unit also leads onto the mountainside, with many braai  (bar- be- queue) spots to choose from on the magnificent 2-acre property. The unit also has its own T.V with all the channels and its own entrance. (Normally sleeps 4X adults)
